PROJECT OVERVIEW

Implementation of a temporary swimming venue for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, integrated inside an existing rugby arena. Key elements included two Olympic-size pools, a large media and VIP grandstand built with Layher scaffolding, and a raised modular platform to align pool level with spectator seating. The project emphasized sustainability by repurposing existing infrastructure.

ROLE

Served as 3D master planner for the overall venue layout. Developed the central planning model and coordinated inputs from all trades and suppliers. Verified and integrated technical details from subcontractors, reviewed compliance with spatial and functional requirements, and produced selected detail drawings as part of the master plan. Ensured alignment across disciplines and oversaw planning consistency throughout the project.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Delivered an integrated 3D planning model for a high-complexity venue, enabling fast assembly of Layher structures and MEP systems. Supported the sustainable transformation of an existing hall into a functional Olympic-standard swimming arena — on time and within project constraints.
